Apple Picking Gives Me Hope

finhive

October being the start of the last quarter of the year has a lot riding on it. Financial planning, budgeting for next year and checking in those financial resolutions because there still seems to be some time left before the year is over. Although this year end can't come soon enough (amiright?)

This month we hosted our first Know your Advisor panel with financial planner Peter Donohoe. We covered a number of important issues ranging from advisor qualifications and fees to performance and quarterly meetings. We also talked about fiduciary relationship and client fit.

On a personal note, this past weekend, we also got a chance to go for our yearly tradition of apple picking. We skipped the hay rides and the donut lines (sigh!), staying focused on picking apples while socially distancing from other orchard goers. It was a tradition we were hoping to not have to forgo and we were glad it worked out. Are there any family traditions that you have been able to tweak and keep?

Finhive programming continues to make a buzz offering Women and Investing series. Sign up here. here's always one being offered. If you have been thinking of taking action on your financial resolutions, now is a good time to give it a go.
